Explosion-proof ATEX Zone 2 smart watch

Atexxo Manufacturing has announced that the Apple Smart Watch S5 is now suitable for use in hazardous locations. The explosion-proof smart watches are originally manufactured by Apple then converted and certified according to the ATEX directives by Atexxo Manufacturing.

This makes the ATEX watch suited for safe use in gas/vapour Zone 2 hazardous areas (Zone 22 on request). The units are available with GPS and GPS + Cellular.

Compliance with ATEX regulations is achieved by modification of the casing together with the intrinsically safe electrical circuit, which makes the smart watch suitable for safe use in hazardous locations. All features of the original product are preserved. The unit can be wirelessly charged in a safe area.

The ATEX smartwatch comes with a black case finish and is available in GPS and GPS + Cellular versions. Ideal for man down monitoring.
